I think alot of the reason there are sooo many single, lonely people on here is..OTHER FACTORS INTERFERE! Distance probably plays a big part...gunshy probably is a big issue...children...jobs...finances..ex's......If you finally do find someone that is compatible (age-distance-likes and dislikes-physical attraction etc...which is hard to find in itself) and OTHER FACTORS INTERFERE...then, you are back at square one.

Yep, that is why I just have fun in the forums and stopped worrying about finding someone.

relationship are complicated and as much as we would like to find that one person... sometimes everything doesn't click into place. but if you are happy with yourself, then it ok to wait until you find the one.

I would travel on a weekend to meet someone for a date, and would even move and find a new job near them if I was passionate about them and they felt the same. I feel that a great person is worth it, as well as trusting them enough that they are who they say they are. If not, I've only wasted a plane ticket and a little of my time. Worth it to me.

I have room in my house.
That sure would save alot of hotel expenses  , but I really like staying in hotels as much as saving.

Well most people aren't so flexible. Like me...I have a daughter in school...she has 2 more years to graduate. She has attented this school her whole life...all of her friends are there. When her dad died, i made a promise to her and to myself that I would not disrupt her life anymore than it had been disrupted. So, as a mom, my life has got to be put on the back burner for now. It is a sacrifice I gladly make. She is my heart.

Worth it to me. done that...moved to arizona for a women who was divorced...right after i got there i she tells me she is going back with her ex for her daughters sake...wow...any way i stayed in arizona for 4 years working on the copper mines as waelder...but eventually came back home 2 years ago...i would think 3 times before i did that again... |
