It is the spirit of a person. It cannot be touched because it is not of a material nature.

I believe it is made up of vibrational energy (forms of light) and information. The physical body is surrounded by a unified field that is egg-shaped. The soul is attached to the body with a silver cord at the solar plexus from the inside. Don't ask for my source, I can't give that to you cause I don't know. JB
