He Knew the Lord too...and is in Heaven now..... always said Jesus was his co-pilot on earth here... .

I don't think Christians in general are "mean" but I have seen some (Check out the 700 club) who are so excited for the big end of the world one has to think they are a little nutso.

I wish they would just be grateful for their lives instead of looking forward to the apocalypse when Jesus comes back and kills all the unsaved or takes sides in some bloody battle for the earth or against the Jews or what ever they believe.

And it is remarks like "You will be sorry you said that when Jesus gets back!" ~~that I have heard many times that remind me of children playing on a playground.

Nobody knows what is going to happen or why. We can only guess and argue about it. And yes it is a waste of time. The book of revelation is the most confusing book I have ever tried to read, and it sounds like someone writing about a bad LSD trip. It makes very little sense.

JB...I see where you are coming from...but people can be very excited without being ugly. to christians, judgement day means we will be with our God forever. I certainly would never say to anyone else..HA take that. it is childish and cruel and wrong. But I know that others don't understand how we feel about the end of the world as we know it. I don't believe any true christian would believe in being excite to see a blood bath. if they do then they aren't right in the head or in faith (JMO). it means something different to most other christians.
