It becomes creepy, weird when every step you take, every movement you
make...you feel someone watching you. You turn and see his face looking back at you. Look in the rearview mirror and see his face in the car right behind you. Step up to your door to unlock it and get the feeling someone is watching, you turn and see his car in the distance. This is just plain creepy and gives me a very un-nerving feeling. I even had neighbors call the police on him twice. It went on for over a month and I was living alone at the time. |

i think it crosses the line when you tell that person their pushing your
boundaries and they continue over riding your comfort level, i find it surprising how often i have to tell another bout my personal space issues, but being upfront can save feelings. |

This does make me wonder when stalking is reconized as stalking!
does anyone got any examples?? |

let see my sister ws 18 and she was dating a boy that was say 20 this
was long time ago he use to show up with out calling we all were at his house watching ghost busters and when we left his house it was raining we went straight home from there when we got home well he ran about 12 miles to our house in the rain and beat us there .crossing the line is when you are in factuated and you can live with out the other person at all and you find them calling all the time e-mailing all the time driving by your house all the time .and just little things they say and the way they act when other ppl are around you .that is when that cutiness goes away |

I have a good example!!!!!!!
When you end the relationship and the guy acts like you didn't so he moves in across the road from you...even though he is not even from your area....proceeds to call and block his number so you don't know it's him, follows you places that only you used to go...tries to make friends with all your friends and family so that he can get information about you, has a cab deliver a pup to your kids and has the cab driver lie about who it's from...approaches your kids and tells them we are all going on a trip....Oh yeah and this goes on for a year!!!!!!!! And much much more than the above...Oh yeah a fake suicide attempt!!!!!! |

I think stalking is anytime YOU tell someone to leave YOU alone
and they KEEP ON BOTHING YOU, daily....... I've seen it done here by others and its just stupid and insane to KEEP TRYING to get another to hear YOU or SEE you, if THEY don't want THAT to happen,,,grow up, get on with your life and let them be... |
when they insist that you have been promised to them by God and you
barely know them ... how I wish that was not a true story. |
Oh yes...they come in all shapes and sizes...And no the man I am
speaking of...I did not meet on the net!!!!!!! |
being persistant even though the other person saids no
it becomes stalker creepy when you've known them not only 3 days and
they swear that they "can't and won't live without you".... My daddy had to get a shot gun after a guy for that... |

When you keep finding women hiding outside your house or constanly keep
getting phone calls or emails "ASKING TO SEE YOUR DAMN PHONE!!!!" |

I like IAMs answer. I mean, there are some behaviors which are clearly
not stalking, and some which are, but there remains a huge gray area in between. There is a broad range of behaviors which are 'flattering' if the person is receptive, and 'creepy' if the person is not receptive - for those, I think the 'stalkee' has a responsibility to say "Please don't do that anymore." |
