Oh, it's not just my experience. It is what I see in almost every married person I meet. The desperation, the feeling of being trapped, the loss of identity, the constant criticism, dealing with someone else's family problems, step kids... YUK. Life is too short for all that misery.

Life is too short for all that misery. i know what you are saying...... but..... there is a flip side to all of that too some people do get lucky..I have seen that too..it's just that the odds are against it..I see 20 unhappy couples for every happy one I come across. It's sad.

and i'm just wondering.... do you think that if you just live with someone and don't marry him, that it is any better ? cause i have seen both sides of the coin, big time. and just living with someone, isn't always all that it is cracked up to be, by far
