I have been working from home for about 8 months now and I still haven't got the hang of it. After 20 years of working in an office, I find it rather dull and so out of the loop of everything. I know there are advantages, but I am a people person and hate not being able to converse with someone face to face.

If you also work from home, how do you do it?

What is it that you do? Maybe a different field would help.

I spend a couple hours a day in the office and do the rest from my truck and home. It keeps people on their toes to think I could walk in at any minute. laugh I love to say I'll be out for the day and then pop in 20 minutes later. noway

I'm sure I would feel cut off too if I never actually saw the inside of the office at all. But at least you can do laundry while your faxing. happy

Yes, I do get my chores done happy but I would rather work 50 hours a week in the office and have someone else do the choreslaugh

I thought about doing Med Assit. but the pay scale for Coding is a lot higher. Besides, I can't hurt another soul, even if its just taking their BP, and that cuff squeezes you so tightlaugh

I do too but I do not find it hard at all. I am not into the office thing anyway though so makes a difference. I hated all the gossipy stuff that went on in the office. I get to spend my day with my cat and my dog, they are excellent company..lol
