it must be NICE to have something like that to give up.... i finally lost my job cause i ripped my knee and couldnt work as fast as someone else willing to take the job for half the pay if you get my meaning |

 nope, and my son is having wrist surgery tomorrow to re-align a break...so very glad to have insurance!

I never take advantage of the health insurance when I work ... I usually just can't spare the cash . Ditch the health insurance but make sure you keep your dental . Atleast thats what I always do because healthy teeth are important . I don't like doctors though so it kind of gives me an excuse not to go .

Insurane is for sure needed when you are older & have kids. When I was a young man (on my own), I never had insurance!

A long long time ago. In the land of I'm so healthy, I don't need no stinking cobra land, there lived an idiot girl...
In the TWO measly little weeks that I was not covered, I fell down a mountain and was saved at the bottom by a TREE! That spells pre- existing condition, which unless you live in NY, means it's still messed up and will require surgery before it can get better. Moral? If you drop your coverage...don't ski! Don't do it man!

I am a disable veteran so it is free for me but my son turned 18 so he isn't cover anymore and I do worry about that
