I got home tonight, from a great evening out by the way, and checked my email on JSH... I have a great friend on here that I like, but we are just now getting to talk on the phone and such, and he has sent me a message that just really hurt my feelings tonight. I had told him earlier this week that Friday night I would call him so we could talk after his kids went to sleep, well I was not feeling to good, my sugar is all out of wack, and my blood pressure was up last night, and my feet was swollen, so I took my zza to bed early last night and didnt call him. The message he left me said goodbye, and how come I didnt tell him that he was ugly or something to that affect. I am hurt that he feels this way first of all, second, he dont know why I didnt call him, something worse COULD have happened to me, thank goodness I just wasnt feeling good. What to do??????? Any advise, he is a really sweet friend to me...

let him go... if he cared then he would have let you explain what happened before being so reactive

Send him an email and let him know what happened last night and that you are sorry you didn't call. He can either be a stand up guy and be understanding and apologize or he isn't worth it.

well just explain to him why you didnt call him, if he dont want to listen then he wasnt much of a friend

sounds like he felt rejected and you didnt keep your word, but i know how it feels when your suger level is out of wack and your blood pressure is as well.. i have been there and its not fun

You know I was thinking the same thing too... I mean come on now, the message was not a nice one by no means, and I have not even been able to tell him how I was feeling--- so bad and why, and that is why I didnt call him, not because HE THINKS THAT I THINK he is ugly, wtf... This isnt high school now, if I thought something then I would tell him.

Chances are he was feeling a little insecure when you didn't call and acted out emotionally. You won't know if it's a common thing with him or if it was just a bad night until you give it some time...if you're willing to make the investment.

I really felt bad, bad, bad, bad.... All I wanted to do was sleep, and that is what I did.

You know that is true, hell I got enough for me, him, you, and lots more that I deal with daily, and my health is the #1 problem, and I make damn sure that takes priority over a phone call, but then I dont want to seem like a B**** either you know.

Well you can send an email to him, but I don't really have a clue what to say to him as "something suddenly came up" doesn't seem to have the same ring over the internet.

Hes a freakin baby. Somebody call the wambulance cause someone forgot to call him...wha, wha. Forget that guy, the whole goodbye thing is a game hes playing to get you to beg him for forgiveness.

He has more problems than just you not calling him so, you have a choice here; you let him go and find an adult or, finish raising him

I sent him an email explaining what happened, havent had to explain myself in a looooonnnng time either, that was kind of hard for me to do, even if to just a friend, but I did it. So I guess I will see how he responds whenever he gets online and reads it... I may have one less friend on JSH, and my friends lists.
