just posting to keep this thread going, oops meant rodeo. Hope ya'll have a good weekend, I have to go to the city to mow all the properties, then back to the country.

Can't in the city, to many rules. We have 2 lawn tractors, that works faster. The country neighbor raises goats, but far enough away I don't have to smell them. Greer saw 5 deer on the back forty late in the afternoon.

Greer fresh cut grass smells like watermelons and I love it. Come on down, have an international tractor in the country, you can mow till your hearts content.

'Bout ^^$#$ years ago, I was going to "church" one Sunday morning and was driving around the Saline river bottoms in AR and saw a panther. It was the most beautiful aminal I had ever seen. It was about 3ft tall at the shoulder and had a tall as long as Texas is wide. An awesome sight.

Experienced a panther kill in the fall, walked right up to it's dead prey and could hear the panther breathing, so I back out of it's space, my boyfriend says I'm a fearless Indian.

I heard one once and I hope I never hear one again. I thought it was a woman screaming in the woods. This was in the south of MS around a oxbow lake of the Dog river in the south of the state, near Pascagoula. Very wierd and scary.

We hear all kinds of wild animals out here, you get use to it and start hoping to hear the sounds as the sun goes down.

Yeah, I have lived in the country before and it is an awesome experience to see and hear what nature does as it comes alive, dusk or dawn!!!!!
