No, but an acquaintance got caught with a few rifles in his trunk, tried to say we narc-ed on him, but he was stupid enough to open his trunk in a KMart parking lot where there were people listening and looking. Stupid, stupid, stupid.... Can't recall why he even had them, or if they were there legitimately.... Back in the 70's.......

Back in the 70's, my dad carried his guns in a gun rack in the back window of his truck. Most people did. In fact, more trucks had guns racks and guns than didn't. Up into the 80's. It was the norm. Maybe the problem with them in the truck was that it qualified as concealed? Don't know.

I sold my house in nawlins, and havent had a chance to move all the guns I had there in the safe. When I left I took them to one of my trusted gunshops to hold since I sold the house furnished. I picked them up last week to move them to what is going to be my primary state of residence. I got hit for 96 in a 55 today, and the state trooper wasn't too cordial at first. It's amazing how retaining your commission with a le agency, and retaining your badge will help you out of a sticky situation

Rob, where is your primary residence going to be? I have two houses, one east coast, one west coast. Neither area is very appreciative of gun rights, so I am going to sell the west coast home, and am buying one in Virginia. If everythng works out right Va coast will be my new primary

They LOVE guns here in the Mid-Atlantic region. I remember when I first moved here reading about the regional hunting contests and the person who won the bear hunting competition was an 8 year old girl from Maryland. I mean, who takes an 8 year old girl bear hunting? It wouldn't happen on the west coast.
