Religion and politics do belong on dating site forums! To many in the dating world, opinions on religion and dating are important factors in their choice of who they date. Both subjects reflect an individual's values. So YES, in my opinion, they do belong here! |

Religion and politics do belong on dating site forums! To many in the dating world, opinions on religion and dating are important factors in their choice of who they date. Both subjects reflect an individual's values. So YES, in my opinion, they do belong here! I feel that is very personal information to most people and that it can be passed along through a more private manner. There is not a need for the hurtful, tear you apart debates that happen in those forums. |

Yes. The dogpile mentality is a hundred times worse in those two forums then anywhere else on the boards.

There's that saying that if one cannot stand the heat in the kitchen, then get out! So it is with politics and religion. Don't go into those forums if you don't like them. To eliminate them only leads to more suppression of freedom of expression.
No one is telling anyone to enter those forums. It's a choice, just as it's my choice to respond in contrast to what most are saying in this thread. Dare to be different! |

Actually, Bobby, with that I will agree with you! I stopped going in those forums long ago!!

I think it is a part of a relationship, religion and politics, may not be the whole enchilada but it is important to people.

I'm glad I don't fit in with most of you, or I would probably have a problem with those forums too...but I don't really care about anyone's cut and paste job or what one may say about my thoughts.

http://www.google.com/ The page opens to a large Google at the top...crap... There are people in those threads that cut and paste news stories and then don't express any opinion just say things like "hhmm interesting" and it gets quite tiresom |

So long as we can agree to disagree I say everything is allowed. at times I wish I was able to just block out certain members, either for that cutting, pasting and fleeing or just start a thread, stir up emotions and stand back and watch the fireworks |
