I always hear that Self-Confidence is an important quality in a person....
How would you describe Self-Confidence? What role does it play in a relationship? Would you describe yourself as self-confident? |

self confidence is being sure of your self and knowing your good qualities w/o being arrogant and not needing others to feel good aobut yourself
it play a pretty big role i think if your not sure of yourself and who you are and love yourself its hard to love someone else yes mostly i would i know who i am and im happy about it and i like myself so i dont need other peoples assurance to feel good |

self confidence just boils down to being happy with yourself, and who you are. it isn't an ego trip, it is just you telling the world I am happy with me, take me as I am. If you don't I am not going to cry about it

I am a very insecure person. I have this odd anxiety prior to any given social situation. Everything I do not like about myself I am sure everyone will see that.
But than something odd happens. Once I am placed in the situation it is as if I had a shot of courage. I think it is exactly that. I become brave and I am at ease and very good in social situations. but before hand I am a mess |

Self confidence is not conceit. Like others said before me, it is being happy with yourself. It does not mean that you think you are perfect, it means you accept and love yourself with the imperfections.
It is knowing that you are unique and beautiful in your own way and noone can take it from you. Yes, I would say I am confident..lol

If one doesn't have a healthy respect for themselves, it's hard to show respect for others. I respect myself, but also realize I have flaws, and don't need to drill others, about their flaws.

It means you know 'you're the SH*T' ..
not. But it IS knowing WHO you are and loving YOU. Not letting fear of what other's think master you but you mastering your happiness
