Toasted: Sorry, but it is plain and simple, if you ever read the posts fanta makes to any woman who disagrees with him. I do not dislike a person for who or what they are, I dislike what they STAND FOR. Major difference Toasted. And, if you dislike someone because they are conservative or a Christianm, then I think you should reassess your values in life. I do not get intimidated by nor do I try to intimidate anyone, unlike fanta. And, I will not let people like him push me around. Cannot stand a strong woman? The avoid my posts. Simple as that. P.S. If you look in PETA thread, I kind of agreed with you on something. Lindyy well, i must reply to this. after this post, last offtopic bit for me. i consider someone's views to be part of who they are, i do not see the difference between beliefs and the person. they are one. you may not believe you attempt to intimidate, but many a time have you told someone what you think they should do. dispensing your advice as if it is law. Toasted: What do you think everyone else does? I am not going to go around and walk on my tippy toes trying to avoid someone taking my words the wrong way. Perhaps my words have 'hit close to home' and people do not want to hear the truth. Lindyy

Still no opinions from the boots on the ground about the Iraqi Army??? Interesting Lindyy says: fanta - how is this from the "boots on the ground". My 30 year old neighbor Jason K., 1st Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment based in Germany, was killed in action in Iraq from insurgents in the Shiite stronghold of Sadr City with a rocket propelled grenade on Monday. Jason enlisted in the Army, Jason believed in the cause, Jason wanted to go to Iraq to fight, his letters home were of encouragement and progress. His mother, Sue, is ever so proud of Jason. She supports President Bush and the war in Iraq and the war against terrorism. Sue, like Jason, understands the situtation that is going on in the world today and will continue to go on, perhaps until the end of time as we know it. Jason laid down his life for freedom and democracy, something he greatly believed in and understood. He laid down his life so people like you and the other anti-war bashers can practice your first amendment rights and mouth off to you know where and back. AS FOR JASON K. I SAY THIS: John 15:13 13: Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. I KNOW IN MY HEART the minute Jason died the Lord took him home and immediately said to Jason: Matthew 25:23 "........'Well done, good and faithful servant!" AMEN. Jason, thank you ever so much. AMEN. Lindyy Our troops are not in Iraq to protect our first amendment rights. Our first amendment rights are not being threatened. Sheesh. I am sorry about your neighbor's son.

My nephew is in Sadr City right now, so Go preach your propoganda somewhere else! Boy,,, Some of these 700 Club members, and PTL religous right folks, are about as blind and presumptous as they come. And, They are a hateful lot as well! I know from the way you follow me around Lindy- , that you have a thing for me, but You are really not my type! I am so sorry for Jason's death and for all of the innocent victims i don't know what caused so much anger here but i hope we can all knock it off, & make peace with one another because there are important things waaaay bigger than we are and waaaay bigger than our disagreements that really matter ...for us to consider Rapunzel: Thank you for your wisdom and helpfulness. But, IMO, the problem lies within fanta who cannot tolerate a woman who stands up to him and disagrees with him. He then resorts to his ugly remarkes and bashing. And, I as a woman, will not tolerate a man of this nature. Sorry you had to get upset over all of this, but there are times I just cannot let things go unsaid. I will not get in your way ... if someone gets me mad, there is no stopping me either ... i was just hoping to offer a peace treaty but i see it is much more deep seated than that i feel bad cause i like you both ... and i wish we could all get along... but there are people who have crossed me the wrong way too and others have sat on the sidelines feeling so bad about it ... But you have to do, what you have to do.... so, that is just the way it goes.... & it is hard to change once the river flows in that direction They really should put a limit on quotes! i know!!
