Maybge just say Hi and introduce yourself....Maybe the women will be interested if you playted it real,ya know?

first of all just be yourself and the best relationships are built on friendships so i would say to start there but let any women ur interested in know that you do eventually want more tell her that you want to start as friends and see what happens (but only if you mean it) good luck

I do not agree...that i want to be friends crap is for the birds. if you are friends you probably wont date for fear of ruining the friendship and if you are dating you probably wont be friends if all does not work out.
I think if you are looking for a relationship, marriage or other type of relationship(sex) then thats what it is.. its not friends! |

I think most of us are really looking for a long term relationship. But it starts with dating. I think you write and say hello and ask if they'd like to chat. That's how it starts....

just pop in to say hello...if they are interested, they will say hello back and go from there...if you come on to strong or seem desperate most females I know will simply turn off. But in all honestly, just stick around the threads, then people will get to know you with no pressure, and anyone I know goes for the guy that they are friends with, trust, and know before the hot guy...sure we like to flirt with the hot guy but we DATE the nice guy...

I think the best way to go about it is to go with the flow. Start conversations, get to know some people, you are bound to hit it off with one (or more) and just go with the flow. Dont place too much emphasis on finding a relationship as a good friendship is a solid basis for a relationship. JMO Good Luck.
Personally, I think it's tacky when people say, check out my profile , as if I had wanted to do so I'd not need approval |

HELP PLEASE I am totally lost but i guess being with only two women in the last twenty years can kinda put a guy behind in the dating seen you know any advice would be great Thanks,Tim posted earlyer today: ...I've noticed many a comment on this and other sites about being ditched, people chattin up more than one person at a time......from what I learned the not so easy way, it is more often than not the case most people on the net are serial daters, and that's why they become so prolific at it...once you train yourself to keep that in mind your not so wide open to being in a position of feeling like a victim...you dont have to be like them, but it is wise to be aware what the conduct variations out there are....any other thoughts on this feel free, just dont get all "I'm not a serial dater" on me...an remember the old saying "me thinks thou doth protest too much"....keep a emotional net when on the net...now go have fun...lol...lol...AND PLAY NICE !!! P. S.- be as honest as you dare be, and try to pick up on the nuances, little signals...women are often too subtle for their own good...treat them the way you would wana be treated...I just had a very nice email on another site, it was a no-thankyou, but it was classy and kind....Good Luck Tim !!! |

my advice would be to participate in the forums.
it is a great way to get to know other people and their opinion. if you meet someone interesting, write her a short email. maybe you can refer to something she said in one of her posts. a great ice breaker, btw. good luck! |

I tend to like to get know people through the forums. I get a ton of emails that just say "Hi".......from what I call randoms on this site.......like what am I supposed to say back besides hi???? iTs not just say hi.....its not that simple!!! Exactly.... Smart, brilliant cookie! Read the profile. If it sparks you, WHY? Then write a paragraph about you, the interest you have... you know, a conversation starter. A paragraph sounds about right. Info, but not overly detailed. Do not type, "Hey. Want to chat?" "Hi there. Nice profile". "You look nice". None of those are even worth replying to. |

Try to stop looking. That is pretty much how I managed to get into the relationship I'm in now.
Now...should I ever not want to be in a relationship.. All I have to do is remember to start looking for one Read the profile. If it sparks you, WHY? Then write a paragraph about you, the interest you have... you know, a conversation starter. A paragraph sounds about right. Info, but not overly detailed.
This is an exact desciption of how it started... Written by the one who started it. |

First dont send emails saying " U R hot or...Hi sexy, wanna chat?" they are an instant turn off. Maybe change your email restriction filters, this will allow more women to contact you. I agree with others, Just be yourswlf and participate in the forums, there are plenty of great women there. Best of luck to you!
