Usually the just want to be friends thing is a chicken shtuff way of saying buzz off.
If he meant it, he would have worded it sincerely and not called you by someone else's name. You are the lucky one...you don't have to put up with his shtuff anymore. Sounds like a loser to me. |

Um, I've been doing some research and I've came to the conclusion that when a guys says it they mean it....but I'd go to say..."friend" mean: : "past acquaintance" Met a guy from online, exchanged emails for couple weeks, went out a couple times, during online chat, he called me another girl name, I got annoyed called him on it and then a few days later he left a offline mgs and said his too busy with nursing school to start a relationship. Comments anyone? Guys especially... Sorry it sounds like maybe he is dateing more than one and liked the attention he got from you until you tagged him for dating another. Something you should EXPECT if they don't tell you otherwise and only when you verify. Just not saying you are not dateing anyone else is rarely saying you aren't. I think actually you are pretty lucky he even told you it was over. Most times guys don't bother. I think the "let's just be friends" is a nice way of saying "don't stalk me"; or more likely if the gal I am also dateing doesn't work out you are an ok second choice. Neither are terribly complimentary. Unfortuneately a lot of gals will hang around hoping whatever is holding his attention away from a serious relationship, something temporary like nurseing school will be accomplished and then his interest will pick up. t doesn't. Word to the wise if a guy REALLY is into you once it goes off line he isn't playing fantasy games on line. You just had a guardian angel looking out for you that he slipped and used the other gals name. Sorry. Better luck next time. |
