Not only is it one of the best all time movies... Football is to the Thanksgiving as a Wonderful Life is to Christmas! The go hand in hand... the Holidays are not complete with out it! and "A Christmas Story".... you'll shoot your eye out kid.... Ha ha ha ha oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!

Christmas movies I cannot miss during the holidays are "Miracle on 34th St".-the one with Natalie Wood and "White Christmas". "A Chistmas Story", and good old "Scrooge"!
Just don't enjoy people being mean to each other, tightwad bullies, self pity,the crying, suicidal, the bleary eyed, "seems to be drunk, but really only silly", Angel. I know it's been a mean world for a long time, but, I like to try to avoid negativity. I quit watching "It's a Wonderful Life" when i realized it always disgusted me and made me angry. |

George was a weakling to begin with. He wanted to travel, get out of that town and then go to school. He had dreams and he shouldn't have given up. I don't see why he would take on the savings and loan so that Harry could go to school instead of George. If he'd said "no! I am going to school now! Let Harry run the savings and loan!" or just let the savings and loan go under, maybe it wouldn't make me so mad. Lousy story line. Then the town saves George. Should have ended with Uncle Billy remembering where he had the money last and a show down with George, Billy and Mr. Potter! That would have been the better happy ending.
