Ahhhhh...............aren't you people afraid of regrets? What if you suddenly found that you were going to die the day after tommorow? What if we die tomorrow? I would rather spend the time with quality people as opposed to quantity. In the short 43 years of life I've lived, I have lost a husband, my mother, and nearly lost my own life. Only regret that I could ever have would be to not live the best life I can. Corny I know, but it's true, at least for me it is. I can't speak for anyone else. Agree with AmethystWyne, I would rather choose quality than quantity. To enjoy with emotion and physically attached with the person. Not just want to have fun because of the physical need. Spiritual satisfaction is better when you have chemistry with another person. |

We can't read other person mind and can't predict the person is the one that we want to chat with. If a person doesn't put an effort to write something, why should we need to take the time to reply a "hi" from a stranger?

is it just safe to assume that everyone who is going to talk to me on this site is just going to end up asking me to start sending them money? No, not everybody is going to ask you for money. But if you could see your way clear to sending me a couple of grand in gift cards it sure would make my holiday shopping a lot easier. 
I'm also not going to ask anyone sending me money. But if they offer... I do have PayPal! 
Sometimes checking Mingle forum, quite enlighten my life, lol. Stick to the people that chat on forum, getting less chances to being scammed... |

A little chance.. Because its hard to maintain the relationship tru LDR.. especially for the time difference.. Yes, it's possible..But need to meet a person who is sincere and believe it will works if it's LDR. If a person doesn't appreciate your time despite of busy life and time difference and giving lame excuses, then it's time to consider to meet a person who stay nearby and able to meet face-to-face when you need him/her. |

You cannot generalize this. It depends on each individual and their preference. Also whoever is concerned about medical issues, this is mostly an issue of how well someone takes care of their own health, especially right nutrition and exercise. On the other hand many people nowadays have medical issues way in their younger years and have debilitating sicknesses and diseases (mostly because they didn't take care - from child age on). Then you have the opposite case where the much older one has to take care of the younger one. Totally agree. So it's need to be more realistic about the age gap between each others. I think 25++ age gap above will be too much after a person reach certain age. |
