Well, somewhat, as a first impression at least. I mean, I'm more likely
to be attracted to a guy that is wearing something nice, as opposed to if I saw him in grungy, dirty work clothes, for instance, if you're talking about simply visual attraction alone. But, once I am attracted, it wouldn't matter to me, really, what he was wearing, so long as it isn't like a plaid shirt with striped pants. LOL. |

Should gays tell their teammates that they're gay? Only if they want to.

I agree 100 percent and that's exactly what I'm doing. It is hard,
though, because it's so easy for people to get that instant gratification from other people willing to give it to them, so you either end up being alone/lonely, or you give in, if for no other reason than you're simply tired of being alone, and realize that it's either "that or nothing." I mean, perhaps not literally but it sure seems that way sometimes. |

Well, surely I'm not the "only" one who believes in it, so when I say
it's a thing of the past, sadly, I think that it's getting to more true as time goes by. One of the reasons for that is the general acceptance of the attitude that "if it feels good, do it." And "Don't *judge* people." People seem to think that, so long as the behavior is "consensual," so long as it's not physically hurting someone, that there aren't any consequences, any ramifications, to it. Life is just one big happy clusterfreakingf***k these days and not many people, from what I've witnessed, seem to really give a damn about it. |

Sanna, I could have easily written your post myself.
Bottom line, people don't give a DAMN about anyone but themselves and their own selfish desires anymore. They want instant gratification, a quick fix, with no sense of commitment, no attachment, no accountability, to go along with it. They don't want to answer to anyone, yet they have this sense of "entitlement" that, just because sex is a "natural urge," that a friends with (ahem) "benefits" arrangement should be perfectly okay. Well, I, for one, am not "perfectly okay" with it. Not these days. I put up with too much crap, too much anger, hurt, and resentment that goes along with being too lenient with men who have the "I can have my cake and eat it, too" attitude, and I simply won't do it anymore. Or, at the very least, if *I* decide that's what I want, then, I will be honest about it and say that right from the get-go. I won't pretend I'm interested in a "real" relationship just so I can 'get me some,' which is more than what you can say for a lot of people. Honesty and integrity are just a thing of the past, pretty much, but since the prevailing attitude is "don't judge people," well, it's kind of easy to see why that is. |

I agree that someone needs to be home with small kids, but I don't see
why it has to be the woman's place to do so. And regardless of that, even if both parents work, they're not at work 24/7, so what does a woman working outside the home have to do with the decline in teaching kids how to behave properly? From my observation, it just isn't being done, period, and has nothing to do with the woman not being a "homemaker." |

Sheila,
Yes the weather goes away when I close my eyes and go to sleep. It returns in the morning when I awake. Miraculous, huh?? Snorrkkk! Kinda like the light in the refrigerator, huh??? |

No, it's important they neither want, or have, any to begin with.

I do have one daughter and I wanted a son, but, after age 25, decided I
didn't want anymore. I don't have a problem at all telling people I don't want kids. I don't want grandkids either. |

When I have to pay more money for a small bag of popcorn and a small
coke than for the movie itself, the very least I expect the cashier can do is bring it to me, instead of demanding I come over to where they're standing. "Customer service" is a foreign phrase these days. |
