There's a lot of movies I've seen 5 or more times, some are so good I want to revisit them more than once, and some films are like comfort food. This!!^^^^  Some movies are like old friends and it also depends on what mood I'm in.

I love reading but I know it's not for everyone. Some people just can't get lost in a good book. I tend to find that I prefer the books over the movies based on books because the movies limit my imagination. They put an actual face on the characters. The authors describe the characters but you can picture them any way you want to. With that said, I do love movies as well.

Op, Maybe you need to make a list with all the qualities you are looking for in a potential date. Then narrow it down to the ones you can't live without.
I understand about being a little picky. After my last boyfriend I am extremely guarded and I always say (as a joke of course) that my new guy has to be as cute as or cuter than my dog.  This is perhaps the reason I am still single.
No matter what, good luck to you! Don't ever feel like you have to settle, you'll know when you meet the right one.

I like to read, watch movies, hang out with my lil man Finn(at least he's always happy to see me when I get home from work. His tail wags and he does a little doggy dance.) I also like to play video games.
