Can I assume Cambridge, England?
I stayed at the college there for part of a summer
while touring Europe, lovely place ;-)

Each day I would walk through the small town
perusing all the small stores. One fascinated me
because it had a huge and odd assortment
of goodies, things like antiques, ceramics, etc.

A little old lady offered me tea on my 2nd visit.
Turns out she was retired but her kids bought the
store for her so she would have something to do.

She loaded it with her 'things'. I would look
around as she made tea. There were no
price tags.

I selected a beautiful vase and asked about it.
She told me she had gotten it from a friend
years ago and cherished it mightily...and could
never part with it.

Next day I was back again and selected something
different, asked for the price. She told me
again, its story, it had been a gift from
her Mother. She could never sell it.

Well, you guessed it..I went every day for a week
and she would not sell anything! I still laugh
about it, her sweet face as she explained her
life to me, the pleasure she had making me
tea every day..she just wanted to chat.

More than 50 years ago..I still wonder if she
ever sold anything ;-)

Looks like you're a man. So what's this BS about your needs having to be met before you do something to fulfil a woman's needs?

If not, then YOU do for the woman, then and only then do you get to get. And what you get back is her happiness, warmth, joy.
