That's great!
I'm finding some nice folks on line, too. Once past the looking for romance/date stuff, some folks are alright. A few even offered me a place to live, back in January, when I was homeless, jobless and pretty much friendless. |

We start at 0530 I just got in about 20 minutes ago. We no longer bother with chow; it's just not worth the extra 45 minute drive time, for breakfast and supper.
Lunch, the community brings us sandwiches. |

Hey Mari! Still on flood control? Yes. There's folks up here who was dry in '97 and are surrounded by 4-5 feet of water. We haven't lost a house yet, thank God. |

Everyone having a good weekend? I'm back from saving the world from communism or keeping the world safe for democracy, or something like that. Failed my PT test by 1:48. Drove the last remainng non-power steering truck. Hot certified in NVG driving. Took some kids out on a road test for their licenses on the 21/2 ton. That was fun; with all that snow melting, we put it in 6 wheel drive and hit the ranges. Top let us open 'the club' last night, and moral and comradery go way up when beer is invoved. The CO hung with us lowly types; she was the last one to leave. |
