I've got the rotten banana blues. No matter how green they are when I buy them it seems the last two always expire before I eat them. If I buy 8, two go bad. If I buy 5, two go bad. If I buy 3, two go bad. If I buy 2, I might as well just throw them in the bin.
i'm thinking this^^^ is why everyone needs a good banana bread recipe I love banana bread but I can't bake breads worth a damn. I can even muck up those frozen dough bread loafs that you basically just let rise and throw in the oven. I can't make cookies worth a damn either. What I can do (and usually do) is make some type of ice cream dessert with waffles or store bought cookies and whipped cream. I keep frozen waffles just for dessert options. Thing is, my potassium levels must be good because I have no desire for it, right now. Thinking about peeling them and bagging them up for the freezer. If I had some melting chocolate, I would make some frozen chocolate bananas on a stick...Those are good. thinking i'm not so good with breads either. i can manage the frozen dough tho
i'm also thinking maybe the girlfriend can be persuaded to save those poor bananas by making banana bread for poor little incompetent you
