When my arthritis isn't acting up, I feel like I'm 21, and I'm 42. My photo is about two years old but I haven't changed nor aged during that time. People usually peg me in my early 30's.
At my age, I'm just grateful to have a full head of hair. LOL Rick |

Welcome to all of the newbies here! Just a little advice from someone who's been around dating sites for awhile. Don't pretend to be something you're not. Just be yourself as you put together your profile. At the same time, you want to make a good first impression. What little space we're given to work with that's hard to do. When compiling your profile, include items that you think would be interesting or would match with someone else. Please feel free to look at my profile to get some ideas. Don't try to squeeze your whole life's history in your profile. Be prepared for a lot of rejection and a quiet Inbox. At least mine is anyways. Also don't expect to find you soulmate as quickly as the commercials say. Pardon my grammar but it ain't that easy. I've been a mailing list and message board administrator for several years so I've become somewhat jaded to all of this stuff. Most importantly, have fun. :-) Get to know people in the forums. I live in South Bend, and the best thing about Northern Indiana is living about 45 minutes from Lake Michigan. The sunsets in the Summer are fantastic! Some of my favorite places. The Flea Market in Shipshewana. Michigan City. The Genealogy Center at the Allen Co. Library in Ft. Wayne. The Lincoln Museum in Ft. Wayne. Potato Creek State Park. Turkey Run State Park.
