It does get better, but you need to work on yourself. **** happens in relationships, people change, circumstances change. I don't know your exact scenario, but you have to let it go so you can heal. Get out there and be the person you want to be, stretch outside your normals. Ride a horse, travel, exercise... Build yourself back up by exploring who you are, who you want to be and what that would look like.
You control your feeling, work on them and yourself and ask for help if you need to.
