Love is a verb. It's easy to say I love you but you do nothing in terms of actions to mean it (e.g. cry, laugh, comprise, be flexible, be patient, teach with kindness, help and be sad). The couple are in the relationship together as a team. If one person tries and the other doesn't then it's doomed. Just a matter of time before love leaves the relationship completely.
