BTW: Russia is allowed to sell oil so that it doesn't cause oil & gas prices to shoot up more than they already did after Russia invaded Ukraine. They're still sanctioned in many ways, and Russia doesn't get anywhere near the best price for their oil because of it. The money for Iran was their own money, returned in consideration for their holding up their end of a deal. It's diplomacy.
