Good Guys Finish Last

Godd guys finish last,
Last in love, Last in lust, Usaully left behind in the dust, Trying to avoid the rust, That comes with the lack there of, Trying to connect with the one, Yet every time it is a money thing, Or a black and white thing, Perhaps a girl thing, Or even a i need space thing, Never is it just a love thing, Well hell, i would settle for a spring fling, Yet all we get as a good guy, A broken heart, Stabbed with yet another dart, Yet when pust comes to shove, all you do is go after a tart, When i am here, right here before, One you can trust, Not to bust, Simply put, one hell of a guy, Yet I have finished, We have finisshed as we began, Good guys finish last. so please, allow me to put you in the past, So that you will take the loss, Because i am the boss, Great guy needing a great girl, So i can say, Good guy happy at Last. |

You can not tell,
What the hell, It is you just know, Know in the gut, Somehting just isn't right, Or perhaps it is Mrs. Right. You sit at night, Hoping to be all right, Stomach churning, Gut is ah wrenching, Hoping the pain goes by day, Yet come nightfall, It all hits at once, Busting wide open, From the gut, Then to the heart, There is hope, YOu are no dope, It was just that feeling, Deep in side, Like a twinkle in the eye, The stomach chuens, The heart yerns, And then you know, It is someone, Not something, Making you trimble, Like a thimble, Not all is lost, For the gut is allright, anf you have found the RIGHT. |

Lost and found
|
|
We lose our minds,
Finding ourselves being lost in time, We lose our hearts, Finding ourselves searching for the next, Only to be found, By someone better known as a hound, Hurting, searhing, relentless, Restless are we all, Lost and then found, Our hearts broken, Torn to pieces, Our minds hinding the memories, Of what was and what is, The past, present, and future, We as a human race, Have no place to go, When you come face to face, With our deepest fear, A tear, Not of joy, nor of heartache, But of the feeling deep inside of only wanting to be pronounce, Found, no longer lost, In the endless sea of lust, In fact we are tired of being left for the dust, To callect on our sorrows, rotting in our borrows, I say to thee where are you my hound, My princess, my fair lady, Allow me to find thee, For i am lost without thee. |

A change
|
|
We all fear change,
Change frightens us, Scares us out of our minds, Everyday, every minute we see it, Deal with it, and fear it. A change though can be welcomed, Fot it can allow us opportunity, And the very act of joining this site, Has opeded avenues for us all, Avenues of life, to breath to write, To join in chat, and friendship alike, A change is not to fear, tis to be welcomed, Conquered, beloved, and honored, To change is to be human, as it is to breath, A change is what we have done by just saying hi. I challenge thee, Change your thoughts to unvail your heart at last, And perhaps the welcoming of the greatest change of all, Uncontional love may be obtained. |

Searching
|
|
We are all searching for the one, and yet we find nothing.
So I ask why oh why do we continue the madness, The irrestible challenge, The effort of looking for days, weeks, years for the one, Because without the search there would be know, Reason to press onward, to fight the sleep, Fight the depression felt each hopeless night, Grapping ont the pillow wishing it was, You, damn where are you, I am tired, I am pissed, I am in love, Not with the search, But the result of the years, The journey thus far has left us weary, Discouraged, drained, and hopeless, I say to the search, Have patient, for it is virtue, Began the search, By searching beneath one's own heart, Finding the love in you first. Then search no more, she/he will come. |

Tis to love
|
|
Tis what we search for is love, or tis it not the just invovled, what is
it about the thing we inspire to be to someone, is the madness of the heart which is uncontrollable, unfulfillable, I say it is neither. It is the burning of the flame, the itching, the sensation we apply for at the very dawn of our lives, tis to love and be loved. Not by canditions, because if it is to be true, then we shall seek the everlasting and endless, desirable and sentalating, pulsating, racing kind of thing, do not settle for the flower nor for the bud, seek out to grasp all of the person you have chosen as the one, and allow yourself to answer yourself, tis it i, who loves, I say fulfill the unfufillable. |

I walk by only to see you, the light from the room burning so bright,
not of the blub, but of the inner light from a place beneath the skin, deep into the abyss know as the broken heart, only to be touched, by the softyly spoken words of a kind and gentle hello. |
