I personally think the word friend is used way too loosely nowadays. It's my personal opinion that a friend is someone you spend actual time with, face to face and go with to events or just hang out together. It's somebody you can trust with your wallet. I've only been on this site for 3 days now and I keep getting these friendship invites with no photos of their face or no photo but as soon as I send them a message that they won't get one nickel if they're looking for money they stop sending me messages

okay maybe that was a little extreme but I would say 25 percent roughly lied about their age.

its on fortunate that women usually 8 faster than men but aside from that I looked at a number of photos and I swear that lease 50 percent of the women have lied about their age as far as 10 to 20 years

I'm fairly new to it this & I was a little discouraged at first but I thought I would give it a shot it's the only 100% free site I found so far all the others want money, at least the ones I've checked out so far. I figure if I want something bad enough then the least I could do is put an honest effort into it.

yes they must be scammers her profile said she lives in BC Victoria. when she texted me she said she was living in Australia and had to go home to Ghana because of her father's death. Immediately I started thinking she was probably going to ask for money eventually, so I up front in a message I told her I said I thought she was telling me lies and after that she stop sending me messages. her photo also showed a picture of her except for her face that was another clue that told me she probably was running a scam. when I zoommed in on her picture she look more Philippine than anything else. it can be an unfortunate thing but I am usually an untrusting soul and am not fond of people who don't show pictures of their faces, that tells me they have something to hide. most of these people I will not consider for dating although I try to keep an open mind.

Is there a way that I can stop people contacting me from outside my country? not just a couple of individuals I mean anybody and everybody.

it doesn't bother me at all I must've viewed probably 50 people tonight check out their profiles. Seeing what their likes & dislikes are. What they want & don't want. that way I can pick out a bunch of favorites see which ones are most suitable for me and start from there.
