I agree with TallBlonde. Eye Candy is Ok to look at, but I would not want to date or enter into a relationship with any woman who is more then 6 or 7 years younger then me. TallBlonde does not fall into the Dumb Joke Category....she is witty and smart.

All types of people use dating sites. Unfortunately, as we age there are different adjustments in our lifestyle that effect us (separation, divorce, death, moving, etc). With me, I am older (65), but I am still very active and in great shape. I'm here because I've lost 2 lovely wives (1999 & 2013) and I am a non-drinker. I don't patronage lounges or bars, so I find it some what difficult to meet females. Prior to loosing my second love, in my late 50's and early 60's. I climbed the Himalayan Mtns, walked the Great Wall of China and walked 7 miles in one day while on another vacation. In my middle 50's I stayed with a Native Tribe in the Amazon Jungle for a few days and did many other strenuous activities thereafter. In my 60's I am still active. As long as I have hope and a determination to meet someone, I do not consider myself as non-perfect, but just getting ripe and more energy at my age. A looser gives up, I will not even if it means I'm on a dating site.

My last vacation was when I visited Taiwan for 10 days and toured the entire Island. After Taiwan I spent an additional 2 weeks in Nanning, China. It was my 1st time visiting Taiwan and my 4th time in China....all vacations.

Go with a group tour if you need to go alone. It will be safer and you will see much more. More costly to go alone on group tour but remember they include food..hotels..transportation and people to talk with.

Taiwan then mainland China for my 4th time. Vacation lasted 4 weeks.

I am new to this method of mingling with others online and would appreciate your input and guidance with my profile. Being widowed (two times), I am not sure how to proceed. I am only looking for female friends for dining, things to do within our area (mountains, casino's, outlet shopping, etc) and for a travel companion if we get along well enough. I'm an older man, with a young thinking mind but I am mature enough to know that I will seek a woman who is no more then 10 years younger then I am, and that is pushing my limit. I want us to have things in common and we can communicate well with each other and do things together. I may be single (not by choice-but by death) and I am not desperate. In due time I am sure I'll find a mature lady close to my age who will enjoy the companionship of a real gentleman.

Last place I went on Vacation (2012) was to Asia, Taiwan first then to Southern China in Nanning. Prior to that (2010) did multiple places in Asia including Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand then went to China for a couple of more weeks...all Vacation.
