Micro brewers are good for trying something new and local...I enjoy a good brew as well. I am prone to drinking molson dry though because it does not leave that heavy film in your mouth for the next morning. If I prefer something heavy I like rickards white, flavoured I like wraspberry, and for something light I like sleemans 20th anniversary. i prefer in a bottle though because I dislike the tin/metallic taste they leave.

Unfortunately I am probably over educated in alcohol as I managed a large Liquor store for sometime, including one of Calgary's Lagest show stores, so I have tried somethings that others may have not had the opportunity, I became quite a fan of a few select wines which was surprising to me as I didn't think I even liked wine, the issue was I did not know enough about wine to get what I was looking for, What an education! I loved educating new staff and customers alike, because I believe people should like the alcohol they drink not just tolerate it because they can't find what they like. Anyway thanks to my career I could go on about liquor for days and give a whole education on types, varietals, styles, matures , single double and triple malts...etc etc etc. Sy told ya I could go on about it. The funny thing is I don't drink often but when I do I prefer to like what I ingest lol.

drinker I am not a big rum fan so if it has to be rum I would prefer Lambs Black Sheep, tastes like vanilla and cinnamon... not bad for a rum, but then again I don't believe in mixing certain drinks and rum being one of them, I hate Sailor Jerry Rum...Blah! But then again rum brings out the Irish in me in the worst way so I usually enjoy a casual whiskey(Tullamore Dew, Wisers Reserve, or Danfields limited 21 year edition), or I enjoy a well matured scotch,,,ooohhhhhh yeah if anyone gets an oppotunity to try a 21 year Flor De Cana or the 18year old so DO IT! they are so smooth, it is hard to believe they stay on shelf. BTW Hello everyone.
