hi skad!!! Hey there! What have you been up to? I'm worn out from my schedule the past two weeks. But! I'm now certified as an ESL instructor, made a 104 on my Advanced Grammar & Composition test, and have perfect scores in two other classes so far. Now if I can just do well on Geology Tuesday.. sigh. going so that I can teach Science, and it's my hardest class, imagine that... |

....and just by the by, since we're talking semantics, if it is acknowledged that yom can mean day AND eon, then you must also admit that the Hebrew for thou SHALT can also mean thou MAYEST. This could potentially reclassify the Ten Commandments as the Ten Strong Suggestions. I don't really buy that, but if we're splitting hairs..... Gotcha.. Not totally against the beliefs of Christians, either.. b/c 10 commandments aren't what brings salvation, according to our beliefs. However, I believe that if it's real, you'll want to do what is right anyway. |

Hope everything goes the way it needs to for you to have a healthy and worry-free life, and that the stress of not knowing won't keep you down. I'll be praying for you as well)

Yeah, the Earth is only 6000 years old. Don't let those fossils fool you...or those excavations of inhabited sites that are tens of thousands of years old...or any of that other "devil" science stuff. Try this on for size, in a physics sort of way. The Earth has never had enough moisture in the history of ever to completely flood the planet above mountains. A physical impossibility. In fact, if the Earth HAD experienced a flood of that magnitude, the atmospheric pressure would have been rendered so heavy that no land animals could survive....I'm just sayin' Heya Husky.. :D Check out what Nubby said about the Yom. About the flood.. I can't explain it scientifically, but we couldn't explain what kept the stars in the sky until the invention of the telescope, 2000 yrs. after Job had already claimed they were suspended in space (no strings). It takes man a very long time to find truths in science, and even what you wrote above about the flood conditions is still debated within the scientific community. I think I'd have to educate myself on the Pangaea development and sea levels at the time to really understand, too. But I'm not willing to just listen to a few one-sided opinions either when there's so much truth in science to back the Bible up. |
