I'm in that same exact bind right now and it's killing me. I was flirting with him like crazy during finals week but couldn't get together to hang out b/c I was so busy, so now I gotta wait till like the 19th to actually see him :(

Yeah, it really stinks. It can really hurt sometimes too. Like waiting for someone to follow through with their promise... but it never happens.

My neighbors were setting off fireworks... my poor labrador was in my lap! He was scared to death. I was at the neighbors and actually came home to check on him at midnight and he was hiding in the basement... poor dog, wouldn't go to the bathroom all night. lol

If you are ever in St. Louis, MO. There is a place in the city called The Loop, which is basically just a street with shops and restaurants, go to Fitz's... they have the most amazing root beer there.... they make at the restaurant. It's AWESOME!!! Look it up... you won't regret it... lol

It's even better when you ask them if they're seeing someone else and they lie about it. And when you ask them again b/c you know they're lying and b/c your friends can prove that they are, they lie to you again and try to make you feel like the jerk. And I've been doing my best not to think about him... and I've been doing a pretty darn good job of it too. Very proud of myself.

No kiss.... no fun either. I sat across the street at the neighbor's house with my parents and played a dice game with my mom and her friends. What a blast right?! I always lose a boyfriend right before the holidays and end up spending it alone while they are where ever they are banging their new girlfriends... go figure, guys bounce back so quick.

No kiss for me either... and I won't know how the new year is going to start out for me relationship-wise until the end of January when I go back to school. But I'm going to try thinking positive. I've been talking to a friend that I really like, and I'm just hoping that he feels the same way, so keep your fingers crossed for me. This will be the first time that I haven't met someone on-line... thank the lord, not that I'm ashamed, I'm just tired of trying to explain to my parents where I found this one at. Now I just have to explain the fact that he's 26 and I'm 20. I'm expecting the "OMG!" look on my mom's face... lol

The Cards have those announcers as well, but they don't bash the other team. They recognize good plays on both sides. Cardinals fans recognize good plays from the other teams too. Unless you live in St. Louis, you just wouldn't understand the kind of baseball town that we are. If you want to see the best fans in baseball... come to St. Louis.

LOL... never read the book, but I've seen the movie and yes that is a perfect example. Scarlett just about uses everyone that she can just to get what she wants and she gets what she deserves in the end.

They do the same thing to the STL Cardinals and it ticks me off to the point where I yell at the tv and that is when I change the channel to FSN-Midwest... "Where Cardinals fans come first", lol! At least I'm lucky that the Cardinals have their own network all to themselves w/ no biased announcers so I don't have to listen to ESPN's garbage. And what is up with that dumb blond lady reporter on ESPN?! She said something about a baseball team winning a game in overtime! It's extra innings!!!!

lol, I used to feel bad for telling someone off and I would always apologize even when I knew they deserved it. But one of my friends made me realize that those people just aren't worth it and I finally have no guilt for telling someone off or crushing their spirit. Of course, I only do it when they break my heart or hurt me.

Heck, just talk to me and you should catch on pretty quick... lol! I guess I could write a book... Cold Hearted Bi*ches for Dummies, haha. I've been screwed over and hurt so many times by guys, I've just kinda learned how to tell them off and crush their ego w/o feeling an ounce of guilt.

I'm rooting for them for 2 reasons. #1, I go to Mizzou so hating OU comes as natural to me as hating KU. And #2, my last ex who just royally screwed me over is from Oklahoma and is an OU fan, and I hope for his sake OU gets slaughtered. So, GO GATORS!

WOOHOO!!! 30-23...Missouri Tigers took the Alamo Bowl away from the Northwestern "Wild"cats in overtime! Take that ESPN... that'll teach you to pick the winner before the game is over.

Has anyone else noticed that ESPN always picks favorites during any kind of game that they are airing? Baseball, football, it doesn't matter what sport, they always pick out the winner ahead of time and the announcers do everything in their power to make that team look and sound good. Mizzou scored tonite and instead of getting, "Oh what a great play by Daniel", we got a, "Now you see, there is the mistake by northwestern and that is the only reason the Tigers scored on that play." Anyway, it doesn't matter cuz my boys kicked some butt and showed Northwestern how the BIG cats play!

Next important game... Gators vs. those losers from OU! Let's go GATORS!!!

Well, from previous experience I've learned that I don't get turned on in that way by just any random good looking guy like some women. I have to be in a relationship with someone and fall for them before I can even think of them in that way.
