Women today are more independent and don't need to depend on a man for anything, which is why the standard of an ideal man has risen. Now it's more about compatibility as women can take care of themselves.

As for me, my ideal man would be someone who I can get along with like a house on fire, tanned skin (maybe), someone who's mature and understanding, has values and basic etiquette, shares his emotions, non argumentative and respects my space as I would his, is aware of what's happening around him, loves and respects his family. Must smell nice and is hygienic... I love tattoos, so must add that in there.. oh and doesn't mind to have a drink, chill and be a dag once and a while.

Not into the "yeah mate, good on ya" type of guy.
