Look at all these replies from men in just 5 minutes. So this is the forum where the mingle guys hang out.
*Amanda takes note of coffeehouse chat forum* I know which forum the trolls hang out in (not this one) and I now know where the men hang out (this one). Which forum do the celebrities hang out in? I heard mingle2 had celebrities. |

Well if you didn't react, they might have thought you were stuck up and didn't bother the next day.... Do construction workers really think like that? Do they give up that easy? Nawwwwwww. It must have been "bring your mom to work" day. |

I walked by a construction site in center city Philly Friday and none of the guys whistled at me. They whistled Thursday but not Friday.
Is it because they were thinking about the weekend? Or ....am I getting old? ...am I loosing my looks?.......do I need to dye my hair blond?...do I need to go to the spa more?.....maybe it was foggy?..... There must be a reason. Should I approach them on Monday and ask why they didn't whistle? The story is true. They whistled Thursday but not Friday. Strange. *Orders green tea from coffee house waitress* Edited to add forgotten question mark and to add a roll to my green tea order. |

I have a hard time with people who claim to be pro-life who are also pro-war.
The reason many people have a hard time with people being pro-life and pro-war is because of the silly and untruthful labels we give people. Pro-life?? So other people are anti-life? NOT. Most Pro-choice people don't believe a fetus is life, that's why they feel abortion should be a woman's right. Anti-abortion?? So other people are pro-abortion?? NOT. Pro-choice people don't wish people to have abortions. They just wish people to have the right to choose what they do with their bodies. Pro-choice?? So others are anti-choice? NOT. Pro-life people feel choice only applies to your own life and since they feel a fetus is a person you should not be able to abort it. Pro-war?? Are there really PRO war people?? Maybe some nutcases but mostly no. Many people feel war is an necessary evil and must sometimes be waged. Those who wanted to invade Iraq were not PRO war. They didn't want people to die. They just felt (rightly or wrongly) that the war was necessary to save more lives in the future. People will start understanding each other better when people stop labeling each other with a broad brush. |

There are two people in your photo. Which one are you?
Also, what's that guy in the back pointing at. You can't expect me to rate you without accurate information. Seriously, I think I want to talk about your written profile and attitude instead. *wink* Ignore that last line. ^^^ It's an inside joke. |

Maybe you consider yourself as a product and feel you have to sell yourself, but I don't. You either take me and my profile as is, or just pass me by. If you are here to find a date or a relationship then your profile is you selling yourself. Only you're not selling yourself for money. People don't pay for you. What I mean is you're trying to sell yourself to people with whom you think you will connect with and have a good relationship with. If you're not trying to get attention then why do you have pictures and comments in your profile? (My comments exclude those just here for the forums) I suppose the use of the word "sell" was the wrong word. You, me, and anyone else here looking for a relationship is trying to get attention. That's why we have pics and profile notes. |

If you get many people saying the same thing then you know you have a problem with something in your profile. Just don't pay much attention to anyone's comments who seems unduly rude or mean.
It's feedback on your product. You are a product, right? You're trying to sell yourself to other people. If you read other profile reviews you can get a good feel of the people who offer constructive criticism and those that are here just to hate. I just read a lot of the feedback threads and I do notice some people rarely have anything nice to say. Those are the type people you ignore. In general though, the collective wisdom of the crowd is a good thing. I myself (when on another dating site) have used the feedback to improve my profile. |

I know. Last night I searched for other women in my area (I like to check out the competition and maybe steal ideas their profiles) and I saw this one lady with 5 profiles. All the profiles were exactly the same except they had different numbers after her name. Each profile also had a different zip code as a home address.
I sent 3 of her profiles a message with the name of my ex boyfriends profile. |

Real men

I like real men but they are tough to find and even tougher to spank. I like to spank. John Wayne would probably not have let me spank him. My granddad was a huge John Wayne fan and I watched all of John Wayne's movies sitting next to my granddad when I was a child. Granddad would say over and over..."There is a real man"....
I was a little girl so I just assumed a real man was any man who rode a horse. Appaloosa Appaloosa Random Appaloosa. |

True Blood?

True Blood is one of the few shows I watch. I love most of the HBO series. I also guessed Sam's secret before they exposed it this week.
I am worried the show is getting a little too odd. It's ok to suspend disbelief and believe in vampires for the sake of the show but I prefer if the rest of the show stays realistic. I am worried the show will become too much like a cartoon where every goofy thing is possible. Still, the shows pretty cool. p.s. If Vampires are so tough how did Bill get pinned down by those two people in the first show? I know they used Silver but still, they should not have been able to pin him down. Oh geeze. It's 5:35AM on a Sunday morning and I am talking about vampires. I'm going to hell. |

Winx:
There's already a thread on this. Not just in here but in two other outside dating forums at least. I've noticed that with a couple of threads like this. hummmmm? And yes, I am a forum junkie. It helps pass the time between study sessions (I am a college student). Edit: Nice post Drew (4 up^^^^). I agree with most of that. I intend on being upper middle class one day and I want to decide how I spread my wealth around, not let the government do it. |
