I just recently quit smoking marijuana and don't plan on picking it up again except for birthdays or very special occassions and I might not even do that. Here is why. I asked many family members, including my nephew if they could tell a difference in me without weed, and they all said yes. I spent hardly any time with my family, I regrettably only spoke when I was asked a question or I wanted something from someone, I had no drive, and I stayed at about the same maturity as I was when I started smoking pot. And that's just what others noticed, what I noticed was I never had any extra money, girls thought I was a loser due to my preoccupation with pot, I've incurred legal expenses, I flaked out on my college and lost my ride  ,and I had to deal with people who aren't trustworthy, because let's face it, all drug users are criminals, especially those who sell you the pot.
Maybe someday you'll get it out of your system and see that it hasn't done you any favors. again, if u want to talk **** about me do it in the proper place. u have no right to judge me just cuz i smoke pot. im sorry it wasnt for u, but, again, the indivisual them self is only one to blame for ther actions. pot did not make anybodys decisions, they did. and pot has done me, my self, as an indivisual, tons of good. i can think on it wen on the other hand my adhd kicks in and i can hardly function. thank u very much for the details, but keep in mind that u can only speak for ur self wen ur talkin about ur experiences. i do not know u, iv never hung out with u, and neither of us know each others names. ther for how can u state anything that has to do with my personal experiences. but again thank u for the details. I have ADHD. I have turned it into a positive instead of a negative. I never was given meds for it growing up because my parents didn't agree with drugging me. So what could I do other than turn it to my advantage? The extra energy of Hyperactivity coupled with the tunnel vision of ADD (in things that REALLY interest one -- which is one thing that people don't know about ADD as a whole), made me a 2.9 GPA in college, and a crack novelist. We all have to live with who we are, but that doesn't mean we have to accept defeat. 
Or drug yourself into oblivion to be able to cope.

lets see if its still pasteable? [edit] Ambiversion is right in the middle, basicly wat i got out of it (wikki) is that they either r consitantly in the middle, or can go from side to side easily.
im not so worried about bein corrected (after 22 years on this place im used to it) as i am more consernd with people makin assumptions strickly off the fact i smoke. my spellin has nothing to do with pot, and every thing to do with my learnin disorder. im not always so touchy but a few people pushed the rite botton and good, and as a nother prob i work on, its hard to piss me off, but u get that rite spot and i explode. like i sead im workin on it. not urs or any one elses fault but mine. |

ok fine pot suck, i suck, im never goin to do anything, all pot heads suck, wer all low life scum, we should never b alowed to inter face with others, we all r criminals, we all should b put in prison, we do no good, all we know is hear say, and we all should just die to make u lifes that much better. right! did i foget anything? any other remarks? (WARNING CANT SPELL) sorry should of put that at top, ow ya we all (pot heads that is) cant spell. so now that thats said can any one give me resons of why or why not u would date a (pot) user. And this is exactly why the " debate " about justification of pot never gets anywhere. As soon as a non smoker says the smoker is wrong, the smoker gets exceptionally defensive because their justification for smoking it is no longer there. They get their little bubble burst and can't deal with it. Have you not been paying any attention at all?? Several people have given you their reasons for not wanting to date a pot smoker. Are you ignoring those responses because you simply don't want to hear it?? i have thanked the poeple that have posted ther ressons twards or against it, many times if i might add. if it is a debate about the pros and cons of using pot is something ur interested in doin, i would be more than happy to b a part of it. so make a thread and ill b all over it. ill even get sites and names. but wen some one is goin to block out, make assumtions, be rude, or be completely closed minded, im not goin to waist my time. |

I wasn't by any means trying to make a personal attack, but I very seriously doubt that your pot use has been consequence free in one form or another. As for the creativity aspect, I agree that when you're stoned you do have your moments and while marijuana may have been detrimental to many lives it sure hasn't hurt the music scene, but for that case, neither has heroin.If you talk to a psychiatrist they will tell you that it alters how regions of your brain operate, which isn't healthy. That's just what they told me though. And you can't tell me weed isn't addictive. All us potheads have increased levels of anxiety that are almost unbearable the first day we run out of pot, that fades as each day passes. That's what it did for me-an introvert. Maybe your an extrovert to the point that you can surpass all of that however. You should try quitting for a couple of weeks just to get the feedback of your loved ones about the difference it makes on your personality, and also to see if you can do it. If nothing else your tolerance will drop and the next time you get stoned you'll be giggling like a schoolkid getting stoned for the first time. Peace? peace :) def it is adictive mentaily, and ive def had a lot of bad come from it, mainly the pricy tickets (man way to much money on thoughs) and in the past i had a prob with it, not nearly as bad as others. but still had probs with it. i was forst to quit in order to keep my license (aka my job, no car no job). i didnt want to give it up, it seemed imposible. but i did, completely clean, piss test, creepy guy watchin and all. i was not happy about it at first, then it was fine, then the adhd kicked in real bad. my freinds, fam,and my non smokin non drinkin girlfreind all told me or even shuved the pipe my way when i was off. my ex hated it, always bitched at me for it, saw how i was sober and packed my first bowl. my boss in the electrical union was thrilled to have me back to normal. i havent looked, thought, or used it the same sence. if it wasnt for that id prob still have a problem though. i do live in central california. its alot dif here, thers alot of dif out looks twards it here. and wats an introvert and extrovert? |

but to the subject at hand, i bein younger have not acomplished every thing on my to do list (prob never will, way too much fun stuff). so i would want some one thats in or close to the same stage of life, like an eirler post sead, i wouldnt want to feel babied, or under acomplished. besides that i wouldnt date some one that was much yonger (only cuz my age) and def not datin my grandmothers freinds. other then that age is nothin but a number. we all grow at r own levels and speeds. as far as puttin no nicely, well thats a great question. u should actualy make a thread on that. just out of my own curiosity, why do u wer a bullet proof jacket. |

You mean no effects OTHER than the fact that it completely destroys brain cells ( which, by the way, don't grow back ) and can cause lung cancer just like tobacco products??? No effects?? Dude....seriously. do some research. this isnt my little stoner fanticy, ther r real scientist, and doctors that have proved it. no joke. look it up. |

I know a lot of employers that will not keep you employed if you smoke pot anyway, why take the risk? iv never had a prob, but im very open about it. iv built cabnets, wired house for the union, installed solor systems, and alot more, all with every boss knowin i used. i am now legal, if i decided to work under some one again the only job i cant get would come from the goverment, wich will probly change here soon. |

the only thing i saw is that ur a smoker, ya kinda lame, but i geuss thats a big thing to most girls. that and wer stoned monkeys,lol. poeple might b a little scurd wen they see that we escaped from the zoo and realy pissed wen they catch use raidin they crop.
