This happened to me when I was messaging with a woman on mingle. She would call me hon, dear or sweetie. All it did was piss me off. She had only known me for 30 min. It's like when a guy you hardly know calls me buddy or pal. It infuriates me. ty for sharing and yes it is infuriating and does not matter where you are from... we are all born with given names and at least have the decency to ask for it before using pet names... have an awesome day

There really is nothing more irritating is someone calling someone who they do not even take the time to know by pet names.
Don't you even stop to think that calling someone baby, sexy, honey can be offensive to SOME women. So guys please take the time to actually know the person before you take the leap of faith or are you that desperate for someone and you assume that calling someone pet names will make the girl go all gaga. |
