Of course I know of Wells Beach. New Hampshire is beautiful and so is Vermont. I chose to live here, and it is I believe the best place to live. There are trade offs everywhere.

Maine in October is about as good as it can get. And without a hard frost there is still a lot of green to show against the fall colors. Yes it does snow, and it does get cold. You dress for it and deal with it. An easy trade off to live here.
