Hi Charles,

Yes, I thought of this too. And so whenever I see a member online, I click on the profile to make sure that the person is still online before trying to IM them. But even then the IM window does not open--the page just shifts down and nothing happens. So, it must be a bug somewhere . . .

Oh . . . and even when I add an exception to allow pop-up windows to open, the IM windows do not always work--sometimes they open, and other times they do not. It is erratic.

Hi,

No, I have not changed any of my settings, which is why I thought it was a bug fix.

Plus, there is some post-it note appearing on the right side of the screen (for notifications, conversations, requests, and activity) that never was there before. I also keep getting prompted to download 2 audio files from Mingle, which I have never seen either.

Any ideas?

None of the Instant Message buttons seem to work on here all of a sudden. When I click one on the Search Online page, nothing happens; if I switch and go to a specific member's page and press the button, the page jumps down, but no IM window opens.

Is this normal? If not, how can I fix it?

Hi,

I get the same application error (unable to authenticate) when I try to use the IM. It has happened rarely in the past but always fixed itself; this time, it has lasted for the past day and there is no sign that it will be fixed.
