Blogger is fine if you never intend to grow your blog reach. Of course, you can mitigate some of this by hosting on your own domain (example.com). Doing so would, in theory, allow you to move to WordPress or MovableType or some other platform down the road and keep your Google back-links. But I would never, ever, ever, ever, ever recommend someone use Blogger.com by letting google host it (i.e., http://example.blogspot.com). Ever.

Since you're using Fedora, why are you not using sendmail in your php.ini?

RealPlayer is a cancer and will never touch my computer. Of course, I use a Mac, but still... If you need a media player, use iTunes/Quicktime - or worst case scenario, Windows Media Player.
