What does Palin's approval rating have to do with her alleged "qualifications"? If that's all you can whip out ... They're hardly the same thing.
A jaw-dropping article from last week by Tim Wise: (I'm an Obama supporter, and this made ME think long and hard about a lot of things) --- also gives great insight into the TRUE masters of spin (and it ain't the left, baby). May I slightly tweak/correct your comment a little, Dragoness? "Hopefully, Mirror is wrong this time. It will be a tortuous 4 years and the economy is going to fall face down if they get into office."
Ummm - How bout: It WILL CONTINUE TO BE TORTUROUS AND THE ECONOMY HAS ALREADY FALLEN FACE DOWN...! What makes anyone think 4 years with McCain-Palin would be ANY different/better than the past gut-wrenching, debilitating 8 years with Bush-Cheney? WHAT TRUE qualifications does Sarah Palin have? Every time the woman opens her mouth, nothing but moronic, stupid comments flow out (women, is that REALLY the kind of female you want "representing" you?!). We've had to put up with 8 years of George W.'s embarrassing gaffes and utterances, (not to mention, the decisions that have put the country in a near depression and mired in war; and facing so much debt our grandchildren won't be able to pay their way out of it) do we REALLY want to continue to give the world the impression that the bulk of Americans believe that someone like Palin is the BEST and BRIGHTEST and whom we want in charge and making life-changing decisions for us? Lord, people! WAKE UP! OK, pardon the rant ... it's the first one I've had on this topic - I guess there's something to be said for feeling free to speak your mind among strangers. (I hope I didn't offend anyone...but I imagine I did.) |
