hey, if you have a virus problem just install an anti virus/ internet security software a good one. update it then scan the whole computer, if it didn't work install anti spy ware program update it then scan the whole computer, if the problem still there you have one of two choices either you contact some specialized professional or format the c drive your self. the internet browser type dose not have any thing with your computer being infected.
