Satan tricked Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Satan challenges Jehovah's sovereignty. This test is being disprove by allowing Satan to disprove himself. Specific signs have been fulfilled showing when Jehovah will act to destroy Satan and return Earth back to paradise. "Let your Kingdom Come, let your will be done on Earth, as it is (done) in Heaven".

There are no other gods, and it is wrong to worship idols. Why worship a god in the form of a statue or icon, when it cannot speak, listen or act? Worship needs to be to the true God.

The Jews witnessed the miracles by Jesus.

Old Testament writers spoke about his coming and made predictions, through Jehovah, about his arrival.

Jews witnessed and understood the prophecies, but rejected Jesus because he went against their ways and contradicted their beliefs. He proved them wrong in their belief.
