Your conscience is that little voice
That comes from deep in you
It is a sort of guiding light
You can guarantee is true

But People tend to ignore this voice
And continue after their pleasures
And then lament when misery sets in
These are duality's treasures

So why ignore that little voice
And be constantly racked with guilt
And constantly pray to a saviour outside
When your saviour is inbuilt!

Heed my words and heed that voice
For it will truly make you whole
For your conscience to simply put it
Are the promptings of your soul!

It's a wonder the good
Bear to live in this world
Where man's sins and ignorance
Are fully unfurled.

They seem to see nothing
Beyond all their desires
Instead of striving for truth,
They pander to liars.

They all seem not to pay heed
When true words are spoken clear.
Instead of hearing with their hearts,
They turn in ignorant fear.

How have we got into this mess
Where goodness and kindness is rare
And the majority of the human race
Is living in despair.

I'll tell you why we're in this mess
Which continues with us still.....
Because all those souls
With big black holes
Can't seem to get their fill.

Bliss is something you feel when you're free,
It's transcendence of body and mind.
To try to describe it another way.....
It's contentment from "oneness" you find.

But bliss isn't given, it must be attained!
It cannot be bought or sold!
And only the toil of prospecting the truth
Will yield this spiritual gold.

When bliss is attained there is ultimate peace
And a love that words can't explain.
There seems no limit to the bounds of life
And infinity seems to reign.

Bliss is in reach of everyone,
I'll give you all the key.....
Do not look backward or forward in time,
Just look now, in the moment, and be.
