I know i am slacking on my skills Texas Girl

And Now the fresh air vent is the is the Valve on the new cars so if its not working you still get the gas stoppage sure if the air vent is clogged or stuck closed you will not get gas either but 99% of the time it the canisters vent solenoid

There is a valve that hooks up to the Evaporator cannister that controls the air going to the gas tank breather tube on newer cars so i say it is this valve i have done many of these on blazers and jimmy's and Toyota's

When the car is running it shuts off the air to the tank to purge the gas vapors in the manifold and when you turn off the car it opens to let you fill the tank up now when it's not working right you can not fill the gas tank up it will stop taking gas every few seconds .

Not to much Bro just working you know how it is

It's your evaporator vent solenoid . its either clogged or the vent is stuck closed .
