No, it's not the disability that's the cause, The ex couldn't handle general life pressure at all. Anyways, besides the point. What I meant is, when I meet a guy, they raise an eyebrow when I say I have a child, BUT when I say (later on if it looks to be getting more serious not right away) I have a child with disabilities, men run before I have the sentence out of my mouth, I want to be forthcoming with them but the scary D word tends to make men track and field stars. Just the way the last few guys have been. Wondered if its the norm

Thanks! I am still hurt that my ex-fiance (three months before the wedding) and baby daddy pulled the "I'm going for a pack of smokes" and was never heard from again! I just don't wantt to get both our hopes up with a new male figure coming into the picture, my son get attached, and then him run from the pressure too. and no, if they can't accept in the first place, I wouldn't want them

Am I doomed to walk the earth alone because my child is in a wheelchair? My child is a wonderful boy with his hardships and yes, it's tough, but should I just give up looking for someone now?
