It a mathematical trick. The way define a circle you could never get perfect as pie goes on forever ("pie" => "pi") If something on a 2-D plane can be traced by a point maintaining a constant distance with another, it's a circle. This doesn't involve pi. |

Ripples in otherwise calm water could be quite circular in shape ?

Owwwww. That's so bad, it's good. I just saw a headline that said a psychic got hit by a car, and he told police he "never saw it coming." how about ... that's what she said ;) and the original poster's joke was ... punny! |

Blondey111 Smile if you want to have sex with me Actually this one has potential I see you're already smiling ... and now I am. BTW this really subtle one inspired by Monty Python: "Want to go back to my place? I am no longer infected" Unlike: "My hovercraft is full of eels" |

I read some posts on different threads here that say religion is/was humanity's first attempt to make sense of the universe. In that sense it becomes an innocent collection of hypotheses with a somewhat generous level of rigor.
However it seems to me that most religions are attempts at herding the masses into a "straight and narrow" so that they can be controlled better, for good or bad. Uncertainty about the existential questions can be quite destabilizing for a population even if only a fraction is violent and acting against the larger interest. So bring in hard pronouncements and unquestionable truths, keep everyone in check ... who knows, maybe some if not many of our civilizations survived because of such power structures. An anthropologist might say religion is a very natural stage in the development of a human culture. The unfortunate (and still perhaps interesting) part is that some PhDs in responsible positions in academia are in favor of specific religions - I wonder how their minds work. Do they sincerely believe in this stuff, do they think the "masses need to be reined in", or are they simply in it for some kind of profit ? BTW I just finished reading "The naked sun" by Isaac Asimov, it made me think all the big data AI of today might be usefully employed to make sociological predictions. |

It's interesting how some "wrong" usages of language by non-native users follow some patterns.

If y'all would look at the profile all profiles have a REPORT THIS USER link it is to the right of the picture very clear.. As well as in e-mails at the bottom of the e-mails says Report Abuse/Spam just click on that and follow the simple instructions~~~~ If you have blocked anyone then you passed right over the REPORT LINK! Thanks for the reply. I don't see any such link on the profiles. ... OK, I looked into the HTML and it's there but it doesn't show up in the browser (Firefox/Linux?) here's a link to a partial screenshot http://imgur.com/a/dIUVM |

thank you so very much Report them through the profile. Do not post info on the forums There are no report or alert buttons on the profile pages--only on the email page after you have emailed them--which I do not intend to do. They need to add that feature so that we can report the scammers if they are serious about dealing with this vermin infestation. +1 there are many profiles created to advertise "escort" (read call girl etc) services, which need to be reported. Almost all other dating sites have a report link/button right on the profile. |
