I wouldn't call it "Obsolete", but it sure looks more like a tradition of a distant past then anything else.
Today, some of the people care more about being happy then having a piece of paper that says they belong to each other. In the end, a piece of paper is just that. JMO.

They are NIGHTMARES! To be honest i am just glad that me and the ex are separated by 6 states. Now that we are apart, we actually get along real well!

I think it's hard to pinpoint exactly one state or area, but i have noticed lots of attractive ladies in TN.
Which only makes things harder for me , living in NJ.
