Philippines is definitely the way to go if you are looking for a genuine, meaningful, fun loving relationship with the freedom to express yourself and show love to your partner and be respected for it. If you are looking for someone who appreciates true love, romance and respect, then it is completely worth it to meet a Filipina and invest in traveling. There is so much more I could say, but... whether other men here actually take this advice or not really has nothing to do with me since it doesn't affect my life. It is cool to be on and try your luck on these more local sites for the same reason people play the lottery. You never know if you don't try. However, in my experience, it has been worth it to travel and have long distance relationships to find people who desire and appreciate a genuine, loving relationship. I'd also recommend some west African countries and eastern Europe as well. I have heard of other places, but those other places I have never actually been to or experienced myself so I have no personal experience with South Americans and some other places where genuine love and respect are said to still be appreciated.

Of course, it is (or should be) cheaper to find a date or relationship locally, and I know most are here in search of a non platonic romantic partner (or, in other words, looking for a relationship and not trying to increase the circle of friends they already have). But, if you know what you are doing and how to find genuine love overseas, then the costs of traveling will be definitely worth it. As far as compatibility goes, well there is always the chance that you might turn out to not be compatible regardless of who you meet or where you meet them, and as far as risks go, I would say the risks that come with dating overseas don't necessarily outweigh the risks that come with dating locals. They're just different risks.

But yes, true love is out there, and even if you find yourself not completely compatible with one, there are more. Don't develop the mindset that the entire world is the same as America or UK and that that is the best you can get. There are some very wonderfully amazing genuine, loving, loyal partners out there for the good guys that are searching. Your attitude and demeanor will make a difference in many places overseas, so if you know you're not a "good guy" then don't even bother messing around with Filipinas, unless you go after the 20 year olds. What works here in the US won't work well if you try it there, but it may with some west Africans. If you happen to find something genuine here on this site, then I am happy for you. It might be harder, but I believe itbis possible, especially for those of us 40 and up. Good luck.
