So where are the recipes? Looks delicious.. I got mine online ^__^ 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon coarse sea salt or kosher salt Water 2 heads Napa cabbage, cut into quarters or 2-inch wedges, depending on size of cabbage 1 bulb garlic, cloves separated and peeled 1 (2-inch) piece of ginger root 1/4 cup fish sauce or Korean salted shrimp 1 Asian radish, peeled and grated 1 bunch of green onions, cut into 1-inch lengths 1/2 cup Korean chili powder 1 teaspoon sugar (optional) Sesame oil (optional) Sesame seeds (optional) print a shopping list for this recipe preparation 1. Dissolve 1 cup salt in 1/2 gallon water. Soak cabbage in the salt water for 3 to 4 hours. 2. Combine garlic, ginger, and fish sauce or shrimp in food processor or blender until finely minced. 3. In large bowl, combine radish, green onions, mustard greens, garlic mixture, chili powder, 1 tablespoon salt and optional sugar. Toss gently but thoroughly. (If mixing with your hands, be sure to wear rubber gloves to avoid chili burn.) 4. Remove cabbage from water and rinse thoroughly. Drain cabbage in colander, squeezing as much water from the leaves as possible. Take cabbage and stuff radish mixture between leaves, working from outside in, starting with largest leaf to smallest. Do not overstuff, but make sure radish mixture adequately fills leaves. When entire cabbage is stuffed, take one of the larger leaves and wrap tightly around the rest of the cabbage. Divide cabbage among 4 (1-quart) jars or 1-gallon jar, pressing down firmly to remove any air bubbles. 5. Let sit for 2 to 3 days in a cool place before serving. Remove kimchi from jar and slice into 1-inch-length pieces. If serving before kimchi is fermented, sprinkle with a little bit of sesame oil and sesame seeds. Refrigerate after opening. Note: Kimchi will be good enough to eat straight for up to about 3 weeks. After about 4 weeks, once the kimchi gets too fermented to eat by itself, use it to make hot pots, flatcakes, dumplings, or just plain fried rice |

Yes, I said KIMCHI!!!!
![]() Awesome if you Like eating cabbage! I'm hooked ...I eat as much of it as I can! It's so GooOooOd for you! Those of you dieting ...it's must try! ![]() Kimchi is a popular Korean dish, made up of fermented cabbage, salt, chile peppers, vinegar, garlic and other spices. This dish has many benefits that can be very rewarding to your health, such as vitamins and other minerals. However, the fermentation of the cabbage plays the largest role in the health of kimchi. The fermentation process allows for “healthy bacteria” called lactobacilli to develop along the intestinal track, which allows for better digestion. Recent studies have also shown that kimchi can possibly prevent and stop yeast infection and contain components that can possibly prevent cancer as well. Former South Korean minister of food, agriculture, forestry and fisheries proclaims that that kimchi is great for keeping the skin ageless and flawless. Kimchi Nutrition Kimchi contains vitamins A, B and C, which are both very important to our health. Vitamin A works in strengthening and keeping our teeth, skin and vision strong and healthy. Vitamin C works in slowing down the appearance of aging skin and lowering your cholesterol. Just 2 oz. of kimchi contains 8 percent of our daily-recommended serving of vitamin C. Also kimchi contains antioxidants, which are said to increase with longer fermentation. ![]() |

I believe in the lord and I always have. Hit some lower parts of life and I realized I really need Jesus Christ in my life. I have read the bible, prayed, have had a thankful heart, but it still seems like I am having trouble feeling God's presence in my life. Is it wrong to expect miracles? I know down deep inside I have a humble heart. Sometimes depression is a battle for me also. Just going through some things. Any comments are appreciated and could use some helpful advice. Question? Have you received His spirit? If so ... you may be going through a dark period with him when hes is silent so to speak...It's a fearful thing to be in the hands of the G-d! Meaning when you can't see what He's doing!!! He is in control and you have to sit back and let Him Be G-d in your life! YOU are In the right Place!!! No you haven't done anything wrong in fact you are doing the right thing...By Pressing IN!!! Pray and Cry out without ceasing!!! No it's not wrong to except anything from Your Father!!! You best Believe you should GoOooOo To His Thrown Boldly with you request!!! Making your heart Known to HIM is what he requires of his Child! YahuShua has Made it Possible for you to come to HIM 24-7 to lay it down and give it to him, to step out in Faith believing that He will answer!!! G-d Love YOU and STAND! This is where it going to get tough! You are standing at the Gate and the croucher is there waiting to steal from you...Going in is HARD! STAND!!! Be blessed LOVELY ONE!!!! G-d LOVE YOU!!! |
