I just ended a 4 year engagement-so I can relate to you. My best advice is to try and stay as busy as possible. Surround yourself with good friends and family. May not help if they are "couples"-as this can be depressing to a point. Try a new "hobby". Don't turn to drinking-that is a depressant as well. Hope some of this helps. Good luck to you--and you will find the "right" one.
